Fine-scale catch and effort data must be reported in all fisheries, and must be submitted to the Secretariat by email (data [at] ccamlr [dot] org) before the end of the month following the month of data collection (Conservation Measure 23-04). These data are reported by Flag States on a haul-by-haul basis, and the data from pot fisheries are referred to as 'C5 data'. The C5 data form must be used by vessels operating in pots fisheries, or vessels conducting pot fishing for research purposes in accordance with Conservation Measure 24-01 or Conservation Measure 21-02.
