The CCAMLR logo or 'brand mark' is used to create a unique visual identifier for CCAMLR.
It is used in print publications, stationery and electronic forms of communication, including email, website and social media. It also appears on CCAMLR security passes and a range of CCAMLR merchandise. The CCAMLR logo adorns the Headquarters building in Hobart, Australia.
The logo consists of a map of Antarctica showing the boundaries of the CAMLR Convention Area and lines of longitude radiating out from the South Pole.
The logo signifies an authentic CCAMLR communication or product and therefore its use is subject to CCAMLR approval. Requests for use of the logo must be directed to the ccamlr [at] ccamlr [dot] org (subject: CCAMLR%20logo%20request) (Secretariat).
Logo formats
The CCAMLR logo is available in both horizontal and stacked versions. In each case the map is 'locked' to the acronym CCAMLR, which can appear beneath (stacked) or to the right (horizontal) of the map.
Horizontal is the default format, with the stacked version to be used when a vertical format is more appropriate.
The two versions are each available in three variants – full colour, black and white. Full colour is the preferred variant, with black to be used when colour is not an option and white to be used when on a dark background. Available file formats are PDF, EPS, PNG and TIFF.
The logo must never be altered or redrawn in any way. Guidelines for its use can be supplied by the ccamlr [at] ccamlr [dot] org (subject: CCAMLR%20logo%20request) (Secretariat).
