SCIC – In progress – advanced steps
4.5.2.3 In relation to Conservation Measure 10-06 and Conservation Measure 10-07, CCAMLR should review the process (including the need for consensus), timing and frequency with which vessels are added or removed from the IUU vessel list. It should also consider how this information can be more widely disseminated. SCIC/ Commission Proposal for the intersessional delisting of IUU vessels under consideration.
The Secretariat places the IUU vessel list on a public-access page of the website and, in addition, routinely circulates IUU vessels lists to: CCSBT, CPPS, FAO, FFA, IATTC, ICCAT, IBSFC, ICES, IOC, IOTC, IPHC, IWC, NAFO, NASCO, NEAFC, NPAFC, PSC, SPRFMO and WCPFC.
